Emergent Norm Productions was created by Mike Stoddard.  Mike originally started Irony In Action Productions back in 1999.  However around 2003 he let the domain name registration lapse and some jackhole bought it before he could get it back.

So it seemed like a good time for a change.  In 2004, Mike created Emergent Norm Productions while working in Germany.  As luck would have it, along with Mike being the slacker he is, he was able to buy back the Irony In Action Domain name in 2006. 

Where is this senseless rambling going?  Mike decided that even though he got the domain name back, Emergent Norm represented the now and what he wanted to accomplish creatively.

With Irony In Action, Mike made the internet cult favorite short film “Stag” .  It showed in several film fests, and was a favorite on several online film sites.

Now that Mike’s head has emerged from his ass, he is now working on a feature length romantic comedy.  Check the Emergent News link for Film updates.
